With its carefully designed analog circuitry, amPlug 2 lets you enjoy full-fledged amp sound just by plugging it into your guitar
No need for complex setup; just plug it directly into your guitar and enjoy serious amp sounds through your headphones. It’s completely analog design simulates the circuitry of a vacuum tube amp; it expresses the differences between guitars and pickups, reacts to operation of your guitar's volume control, and even conveys the sense of air emanating from a speaker cabinet. The circuit design and parts have been carefully chosen to let you enjoy powerful, high-quality sound that you might not expect from such a compact unit.

Three models have been added; three modes of sound, and effects to shape your sound
The amPlug 2 lineup consists of four models: “AC30” which provides the AC30 top boost sound, “Classic Rock” which gives you the standard high-gain sound of a UK-made 100W amp, “Metal” which delivers a US-made metal high-gain sound, and “Bass” dedicated to bass. The three new models – “Clean,” “Blues,” and “Lead” – meet the needs of three more genres, bringing the total to seven models. Each gives you three modes, and by switching between these modes you can expand your range of sonic variation. In addition, there are a total of nine types of effect (Chorus x 3, Delay x 3, and Reverb x 3) for even more freedom in shaping your sound.

Foldable plug that rotates 180 degrees

The plug that you insert into your guitar can rotate in five steps up to 180 degrees, enabling it to be adjusted for optimal visibility. This design also allows even more compact storage in your guitar’s case or gig bag.

Auto power-off function ensures longer battery life
We have added a function that automatically turns off the power even, if you leave the unit with the power on. Since this function works by detecting operations or audio signals within a certain length of time (30 minutes), it has absolutely no effect on normal use. This feature further enhances the convenience of the amPlug.
